Tuesday Eye Candy... Colorful Camping

Great fashion photography by Miles Aldridge...

(Flower-Filled) Scenes from My House

I planned a big gala event this weekend which involved many, many lovely dahlia arrangements. So guess who got to bring home some flowers to decorate her home? I broke them up into big and small groupings and scattered them around the house, from the living room coffee table to my kitchen window, so no matter where I am in the house I'm surrounded by beautiful blooms! Here are some of my favorite vignettes...

Gorgeousness, yes?

My bedroom dresser. The funny silver bulldog is a HomeGoods find...

Woof!

One of my jewelry displays... just an Ikea bulletin board covered in muslin...

The office sofa with a glimpse of our fun picture wall... I think the terra cotta roses look gorgeous on the neon yellow drink tray!

The kitchen window is full of playful knicknacks, which makes washing dishes much more pleasant. The turtle flower planter and the hob nail pitcher are flea market finds. And the Dunnies are courtesy of my friend Ingrid's wedding (she wrapped them up as favors!)

Mad About Jak & Jil...

Lately I can't get enough of Tommy Tonn's amazing street style blog, Jak & Jil. Can you believe all of this delicious fashion eye candy?! I love the detail shots in particular, like seeing a jumble of bracelets on an arm or a dotted stocking with leopard and lace stilettos. Divine!

Dark and Dramatic

These images of an L.A. atelier (from my new favorite interior designer Kishani Perera) make me want to surround myself with deep and moody jewel tones all the time. Particularly tempting is that jade green bedroom... now how sexy is that!?

I also want that bamboo wing chair....wow!

My Dream Wardrobe by Duro Olowu

If any Fashion Week collection summed up what I look for in the perfect wardrobe, it would be this one from London-based designer Duro Olowu.  If money were no object, I would probably wear one of these looks every day! You can never have too many fabulously eclectic prints in my opinion!

p.s. And I need those black-dotted shoes...

Love Murals

For those of you who don't know much about Philadelphia, we are a city full of murals. The Mural Arts Program works to beautify neighborhoods and instill a sense of civic pride for the residents of these areas. A Love Letter for You is a project that has resulted in the amazing murals shown here, which can be seen from the elevated subway line.  Personally, I think one of these would be the absolute perfect background for an engagement photo shoot! Thanks so much to Cheyenne over at Loveleigh Invitations for sharing these with me....
