A Riot of Color

This home, belonging to textile designer Lisa Fine and featured in the fabulous new December issue of Lonny Magazine, is a true feast for the eyes, don't you think? I simply cannot get enough of the joyous mix of colors and patterns!

Rabbit Ears for Me...

Is it wrong that I want a pair of luxe, exaggerated bunny ears to wear out on the town? The bunny ear trend has been around all fall, famously appearing on Louis Vuitton's fall 09 runway and showing up on the heads of famous ladies like the Olsen sisters and Lady Gaga. And now Topshop (yes, I know I mentioned it last week) has a pair that go easy on the wallet at $36. So tempting, though I'm not sure it can be pulled off on the fairly conservative streets of Philadelphia... Thoughts?

Happy Weekend!

Hope you all have a very happy weekend! Personally I could stand to do some gift wrapping, and some decorating too. How about you guys? Anything festive on the agenda?

Featured Sponsor: Petulia's Folly Charity Event + Sale

I haven't mentioned my wonderful featured sponsor Petulia's Folly in a while, so I wanted to take this day to say a very special thank you for their support of this blog. Petulia's Folly is truly one of the coolest, and prettiest, boutiques around. I love all the lines they carry (including the fab chapeaus above by Eugenia Kim - oh, how I love hats!) and am constantly inspired by their lovely window displays. If you ever visit Philadelphia, Petulia's Folly is a must!

I intend on showcasing a few of their lust-worthy new arrivals in my holiday wish list on Monday, but for now I encourage you to peruse their site and do a bit of shopping. Especially TODAY since they are holding a fantastic sale that includes an additional 20% off all purchases on the web and in-store....

Did I mention a portion of the proceeds go to the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger? You can check a few items off your list and help a worthy cause... sounds like a happy Friday to me!

Perfect Patterns

Pretty patterned wallpapers, some used in unique ways (on the ceiling, behind a hutch). It makes me want to finally hang all those rolls of paper I bought on sale at Target many months ago! Hmm, maybe a project for the new year...

Tuesday Eye Candy: Pink and Coral

Oh how I adore these supremely feminine and lady-like designs from Oscar de la Renta's pre-fall 2010 collection. And I can't get enough of this delicious color combination - pink and coral is just so pretty together. Especially when it's surrounded by beading, sequins and fur! I've been playing around with these colors a lot lately - there are some sweet silk tops in pinky corals from our friends at J. Crew that look great when paired with a skinny patent belt and a cardi from any old place. So yummy! Speaking of, I'm also loving the coral showing up as an accent in bold patchwork and ethnic prints...

Gorgeous Rooms by Erinn Valencich

Love all these colorful rooms and vignettes from Omniarte Design by Erinn Valencich...

Orla Kiely Clothing

These dresses from Orla Kiely's fall/winter collection are so me, it's not even funny. I was perusing her site mainly to drool over the new bedding collection (which is fantastic I admit), but the clothing is what really caught my eye! Great prints, great shapes...

mossy green and gold...

Such a pretty color combo!  And I want to steal the idea of wrapping cans with wallpaper for my wedding...

Holiday Wish List - Topshop Accessories

For the first of my holiday wish lists that I'll be sharing with you this month, I thought I would start with a collection of affordably-priced, big-statement accessories - all from one of my favorite stores, Topshop. Any one of these items would make an outfit - seriously, a badass metallic stiletto, or perhaps just a flash of sequin or fur, is enough to make heads turn. Personally, I will be hoping that Santa puts the sequined belt and the heart stockings under my tree this year. What about you guys? Does anything catch your eye?

(Images clockwise from top left: Trophy sequin belt, $60; All over heart tights, $16; Big spot sheer tights, $16; Unique metallic sandal, $190; Speckled abstract brooch, $25; Rainbow necklace, $62.50; Mongolian chain handle bag, $100; Multi sequin beret, $32; Rhinestone owl ring, $75; Peacock ring, $40; Christopher Kane mesh boot, $150; Enamel bow elastic belt, $44; Brooch and corsage belt, $80)

Tuesday Eye Candy: Gary Spain Interiors

I recently discovered this bookmark I had for Gary Spain Interiors. I feel like I should remember these images, but they seem brand new to my eyes. And they are fabulous! So many rich textures and quirky accessories... I love everything about these rooms....

Holidays are here!

Thanksgiving is over and with that, the holidays are officially here! Time to decorate and wrap gifts and make wish lists and travel plans! I put a wreath on my front door last night - just a little something sparkly and festive to get me in the mood. How about you? Did anyone take part in the shopping madness this weekend, or put their tree up perhaps?
