Michele Varian's jewel box of a shop in NYC is one of my favorite stops. In addition to her beautiful appliqued pillows, I love browsing her eclectic, humorous, and sometimes slightly macabre, selection of home accessories. A good selection of her wares can be found at her online site as well.

I very recently purchased this very bird in a store in Colorado Springs. How very odd that I ran across it here...I do so love this little thing.
