Happy Friday + Orla Giveaway

Here's hoping you all have plans for a lovely weekend! Before I sign off for the day, I want to announce a little giveaway for my loyal readers.

Since I've finally had some luck tracking down items from Target's Orla Kiely line, I figure I should share a bit of it with you. So, just leave a message in the comment section telling me about that one thing you are constantly searching for on your shopping expeditions. It can be something specific, like a perfect pair of ceramic foo dogs, or something more general, like vintage beaded clutches.

One lucky person will receive the super-cute pear print apron and matching oven mit seen above! The winner will be selected at random on Wednesday, February 25.... Good luck, and happy weekend!

I'm always looking for old viewmaster slides. I find ones from the 80s every so often at garage sales and thrift stores, but never the old travel slides. I wish... :)

I am all about vintage paint by numbers and salt and pepper shakers. Aprons, embroidery somebody's grandma made a million years ago, etc etc etc :)

Also, I love these! I went to Target the other day, but they had barely anything, not even the apron, which I really wanted to check out. Bummer.

I'm always on the hunt for something monogrammed or sterling silver, and pref. both. I love little dishes, bowls, spoons, antique ash trays, and so many other little accessories.

As of late, I'm constantly searching for two things- a lovely, vintage frame so I can make a magnetic chalk board and a very cool lamp so I can attempt to have a final outcome half-way as amazing as your Sour Apple one (which I'm hoping the lamp will go on sale, eventually)!

Have a great weekend!

Lately, I have been searching for the perfect winter boot. It gets cold here and I have get to find a pair of comfy boots I can walk around all day in. I've also been searching for great stationery: letterpressed notebooks, cards, etc. By the way, I love Orla! This would be so amazing to win.

Oooohhhh! I would LOVE to win the adorable Orla stuff...I have tried to find this at Target as soon as it hit the stores, but my Houston Targets are either sold out or don't have a great selection.

I am always in search when go shopping for the perfect pair of jeans. I have a few brands that I do love, but just have it in my head that there is something better out there. Does that make me weird? Love your blog btw!

I have been looking for a specific looking pair of shoes for what feels like years now! (Beige, flat & a slightly pointed toe if anyone sees them!). Other than that - I need a side table or small cabinet to make into a play kitchen for my daughter. Im not entirely sure what I would do if I find either :D

Philly greetings, Elizabeth...your friend Clare introduced me to your blog. Congrats on the Apt. Therapy nod! That wall looks great, although it certainly looked fab in the before pics as well. Speaking of specific shopping searches, I have been trying to find glass bluebirds for the longest time. Not ceramic - which are much easier to find - but glass. We just finished off our basement and I would love a set of those birds as an accent. I would certainly settle for the pear print apron for the time being!!! Good luck everyone...

The house thing I'm searching for doesn't actually exist: I would love a Kitchenaid Pro 600 in the Martha Stewart special edition blue enamel. The Artisan 375 just won't cut it! I need maximum cookie dough blending power!
