There's just so much stuff to look at in these delightfully busy rooms from interior designer John Loecke. I love rooms packed with patterns, color, and especially, knicknacks! Boy, are those things found in spades here. Oh and if I am ever lucky enough to find a tortoise foot stool like the one below, then my search for quirky home items will be complete. Because nothing could be better than a turtle foot stool!

Terrific post. I adore rooms that seem to tell a tale. Design such as that may seem too crazy for many but for me, it instills comfort, history & charm. xx deb
tortise foot stool...pineapple chandelier...i love it! quirky and all!
i want to go an explore these rooms and poke around
I'm still drooling about the 1st photo:p
I love the little table and chair set in the last photo!
How fun! I love all the color.
I want those green curtains...
No home is complete without a turtle footstool =D I like the uneven numbers a lot - especially the last photo. I've noticed that lots of American kitchens have windows above the workspace/sink, and I think this is such a great idea. And the round window with all the lovely plates around looks fabulous!
Love the turtle foot stool. The decorative plates are great too! Very reminiscent of John Derian.
