Inspired Winter Dressing - Louis Vuitton

It can be challenging to appear stylish during the winter (or at least I've always found it to be the case), but this season I've been testing out some kookier-than-usual looks that have made getting dressed in the morning much more fun. I'm talking about knee socks with skirts, layers galore, belted sweaters, bold prints, furry accents, open-toed sandals with tights... pretty much everything seen in the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2010 collection. It's all a lot of look, I know, but so inspiring at the same time.  So - what have you all been wearing to keep warm and stylish this winter?

hmmm, this inspires me...i've had a pair of super pretty knee socks and they've been hibernating in my drawer, time to pull them out and whip together something pretty pretty! :)

Fun, young designs. Love the second outfit. I'm old so I've learned to stick to what looks best & not necessarily what I's love to be able to wear. It's been pencil skirts, metallic, black leather motorcycle jacket, and my staple, the black turtleneck. It's bee cold enough, that I've been thrilled to be able to wear a coat. Happy Sunday evening to you Elizabeth x deb

i've been loving my over-the-knee boots — sexy without crossing the line and warm without the grungy appearance of uggs. these looks are gorgeous though and just what i need to reinvent the look a little each day! great blog :)
