great room

This enormous and fabulous dining room-kitchen is located in the former ballroom of an English country estate, recently renovated for a young couple and their family. I could die over the massive marble counter floating in front of sunny windows overlooking the grounds. The color palette is pretty inspiring too - medium gray walls with the pop of sorbet-colored chairs and lots of bright white trim. Love!

Perusing my inspiration files today, I came across this delightful room first spied on Design Sponge. The sunlit space combined with vintage architecture and mod art feels so very right for the new year, don't you think?

Inspirational Interiors

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday last week! It's been a while since I've posted (the fiancee and I took a trip to Alabama to see the family), so I am happy to be back with a few of my favorite interiors from the inspiration files. Enjoy!

One for the inspiration files...

The prettiest office ever, I think. How gorgeous is the pale blue desk and gleaming silver branch light fixture? Definitely one for the inspiration files...
