Weekend Project

Photobucket
Hope you all had a great weekend! As for me, I spent a good part of the time refurbishing that old brass chandelier I mentioned last week. You can see a little preview of the finished product above! In addition to painting it white, I performed a bit of DIY on the candle sleeves. While the replacement sleeves offered by this company are very cool indeed, I decided to save about $70 by making them myself.  I'll share more photos in upcoming days once we decide where to hang the thing, and I also promise to include a little tutorial for covering your own candle sleeves!

There is nothing you can't do with spray paint sister! Great job. I knew you were going to have to get a chandelier!

I took a quick look at their website, and I prefer your candle sleeves! Love the colour and the pretty birds. Plus I'm all for DIY. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos!

i will be taking notes on this one! the chandelier currently hanging in my dining nook is so ugly - mostly because of the sleeves (which seriously look like empty toilet paper rolls) so i am super excited to see how i can cute-ify them.

as usual - yours looks great and i LOVE the colours! you always pick awesome colours.
