Like I Give A Frock + Giveaway Time!

Photobucket

On the lighter side of bedside reading... I've been thoroughly enjoying "Like I Give A Fock" by Michi Girl, the Australian fashion site.  In addition to its humorous musings on all things style, it features stunningly dreamy illustrations by the most-talented Kat MacLeod. Even those of you not so obsessed with fashion will be taken by the eye candy...

Luh-huh-uuuuve your site! I just finished This Charming Man, by Marian Keyes, a HI-larious Irish author who does great chick lit (as opposed to Chiclet's...) I would also luh-huh-uuuuve the opportunity to get a lil vintage something-something and the lovely book you mentioned above!
Merci!

That book has such beautiful formatting. I'm reading Bono:In Conversation by Michka Assayas right now. Also I keep re-reading Tales of the Unexpected by Roald Dahl, a collection of amazing short stories. In the background I'm constantly reading a pile of reference books for work, which I don't think you'd wanna know about!

I've gone old school and have been reading "The Grapes of Wrath." So depressing, but beautifully written and, frankly, creepily accurate with what's going on today...

Love your blog! You were one of my inspirations to start my very own! I just finished reading Shopgirl by Steve Martin. The writing is beautiful and it has a slow, moody vibe that just makes it unlike anything else I've ever read.

Gorgeous! I'd be temped to cut the book apart and frame it!

For decor / ongoing reading, its "Influence" by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson. For pure reading, it was just "Outliers" by Malcom Gladwell. Both highly recommended!

Hey Elizabeth! As you know, I am a devoted follower (and every so often, a sender of finds I think that you would like!) I would love a copy of "Like I Give A Frock" for the coffee table in my newly finished basement.

Ooh, I've been wanting to give this book a looksie. I love books with beautiful illustrations. Currently on my nightstand is "The Weight Of Water" by Anita Shreve, one of my favorite authors. I believe there is a movie based on this book that I saw on TV once. Elizabeth Hurley was in it. Can't remember who else though!

I have had the book Influence by the Olsen Twins on my nightstand for a while. I have read through it already, but it is so beautiful and inspiring that I often go back and flip through it.

Thanks for all of your inspiration-your blog is great.

Just started reading Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Findlay. It's really interesting, especially to a design student like myself!

I have two, Twilight and A Long Way Gone. I love to read, unfortunately it puts me to sleep and I have to start over.

And yes I follow, just anonymously. I sang your praises in my comment on one of your last posts and also showed my neighbor and have begun rethinking a bedroom redo.
